Sir Allen Stanford, the Texan billionaire charged by US securities regulators with “massive” investment fraud, has disappeared as the investigation into his Houston-based banking group widens.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is conducting its own probe, the Financial Times understands.
