BC Partners is planning a big push in the US as the UK-based buy-out firm tries to keep up with the rapid globalisation of private equity by establishing a team to compete for deals in New York.

The new growth strategy will be marked by a sweeping management shake-up at BC Partners. Raymond Svider, one of the firm’s top managing partners, will move from London to New York with three partners from the UK and Germany.
