Pay no heed to the cynics who would seek to rubbish Aim

It pays to eschew conventional thinking when looking at Aim - although investors should always remember that the junior market is venture capital with a quote.

The risks involved throw up a lot of critics and some of the mud they fling sticks. However, a close look at the first half by Jim McCafferty, head of research at Seymour Pierce, suggests that Aim is often unjustly maligned.
