Volvo reports second quarterly loss in a row

Volvo AB, the world’s second largest truckmaker, reported a second consecutive quarter of losses on Friday and forecast that the European heavy truck market would fall by at least half this year.

The worse-than-expected result and the gloomy forecast pushed the company’s shares down 1.8 per cent to close at SKr55 in Stockholm.
