Pakistan arrests five Taliban leaders

Pakistan’s military claimed a key success on Friday in the fight against the Taliban with the arrest of one of the movement’s senior officials.

Muslim Khan was the Taliban’s most prominent spokesman and is as fluent in English as in Pakistani languages after having spent four years in Boston in the US as a labourer. He was one of five militant leaders captured on Friday, according to the Pakistani military.
