Israeli raid angers Palestinian PM

Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian prime minister, on Thursday accused Israel of seeking to undermine his new government after Israeli forces raided Nablus and imposed a curfew on the centre of the West Bank city.

The raid came less than two weeks after Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah president of the Palestinian Authority, swore in a new cabinet, bypassing the Hamas-dominated parliament.
