Hollinger restates profits since 2000

Hollinger International, the US publishing group that last year ousted Conrad Black as chairman, incurred $56.4m of legal fees between 2003 and 2004 as part of its investigation of Lord Black's ?looting? of the company, according to its financial statements.

In a 10-K report filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, Hollinger International also restated its earnings for four years.
