Fuel deal could strengthen UK consumer rights

A ground-breaking class action settlement over price-fixing on airline fuel price surcharges looks likely to boost the rights of millions of UK consumers.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic on Friday announced an agreement to pay more than $200m (£102m) to passengers who made long-haul flights between 2004 and 2006 to settle a lawsuit in California.
