Brian May appears to have lost a battle of rock rivals. The Queen guitarist used his blog on Friday to express “shock and disappointment” at finding out that he had failed in his pursuit of Planet Rock, the digital radio station put up for sale by GCap Media.

“I’m sitting here with jaw open. We just found out that GCap, the owners of Planet Rock, have sold the station to a third party, without so much as mentioning their change of plan to us,” he said.
