When Martha Reider decided a few years ago to go back to school to earn an MBA, she had a number of criteria for a programme.

She wanted a curriculum that emphasised the practical over the theoretical. She wanted a course schedule that was flexible, and classmates who offered scholarly companionship. But perhaps most importantly she wanted a programme and that allowed her to complete her studies while she worked fulltime.
