Since parting company with Romain Jerome (watches that incorporate moon dust and bits of the Titanic), watchmaking wild man Yvan Arpa has been busy setting up a new brand called Artya which debuts at Baselworld with a watch called the Tesla Skeleton Tourbillon, a one-off with a case allegedly sculpted using a 1m volt electric charge. The movement marries a tourbillon with electronic resistors and the strap is made from the skin of an American cane toad. Croakey Moses.
