Wedded to the best activist and value situations

From the moment I wake up on Thursdays I start panicking about what I’m going to write for next week’s Financial Times column. The first thought that always hits me is: “This is the week I’ve been dreading. The first time I’ll actually miss my deadline.” I’ve been in every Tuesday’s FT Wealth. But if I have nothing to say, then I’ll be forced to miss an edition.

But first things first. Last Thursday I had to go off to be best man at a wedding at City Hall. The couple, Tamara and Pierste, had just started dating each other. So, like most couples that have just begun dating, they decided to get married quickly at City Hall. I was “best man” to the bride and was carrying both rings.
