Attack on journalists puts China under fire

China suffered a potentially heavy public relations blow yesterday ahead of the Olympics after police were caught on camera manhand-ling Hong Kong journalists.

Video from Hong Kong television stations showed Beijing police officers throwing one journalist to the ground and thrusting him by the neck. Other officers pulled cameramen from ladders as they sought to record chaotic scenes surrounding Olympic ticket sales.
