Airlines see more declines in traffic

International air passenger traffic fell in October for a second month in succession as airlines grounded a growing number of aircraft in the face of deepening recession.

Passenger traffic fell last month 1.3 per cent year on year following a fall of 2.9 per cent in September, according to figures released on Thursday by the International Air Transport Association.
