Instinet eyes 20% client growth in Asia-Pacific

Instinet is expecting to increase its client base by at least 20 per cent in the Asia-Pacific region this year as asset managers show a growing preference for agency brokers.

Nick McDonald, head of Asia-Pacific equities at Instinet, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan’s Nomura, said there were three main factors driving such growth.
