AB InBev sees switch to ‘value’ brands

Not even beer has escaped a global consumer switch to cheaper products, the world’s biggest brewer signalled on Thursday.

AB InBev, the maker of Budweiser, Stella Artois and Beck’s beers, reported better-than-expected second-quarter results but warned of continued slowdown in demand in the second-half of the year.
