University company sells stake for £25m

Imperial Innovations, the company that commercialises discoveries made by academics at Imperial College London, has raised £25m by selling a 14 per cent stake to financial institutions.

With shares set to list on the Alternative Investment Market at the end of this month, the flotation will be the first by a university-owned technology transfer company.
