Thaw in emerging corporate bonds

Emerging market corporate bond markets have burst into life this month following tentative signs of recovery and growing confidence among investors in the developing economies.

Companies in emerging markets have raised $7.1bn this month in the international bond markets compared with a combined total of $5.9bn for January, February and March, according to RBC Capital Markets.
