Genetic clue to the cause of MND

Genetic research has uncovered an important clue to the cause of motor neurone disease, one of the most devastating neurological disorders. Analysis of a large British family with a rare, inherited form of MND implicates a mutation in a gene called TDP-43 in the development of the disorder.
