Wyndham shares hit as it cuts jobs

Wyndham Worldwide, the world's second-biggest hotel group by rooms, sought to reassure investors that it could weather the storm buffeting the lodging industry, announcing job cuts and a series of charges.

Restructuring charges over the second half of the year and the first quarter of 2009 will be in the range of $22m to $32m, the hotel, timeshare and holiday rental group said.
