Indonesia poll challenge rejected

Indonesia’s constitutional court has rejected a challenge to July’s presidential elections by the two losing candidates in a ruling that draws a line under further lawsuits over the poll result.

Megawati Sukarnoputri, a former president, and Jusuf Kalla, currently vice-president, had alleged millions of duplicate or fake names on voter rolls had thrown into question Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s victory.
