Business brings a sense of control

Business is simply “the most fun, exhilarating, wonderful way to spend your time”, said Liz Jackson, managing director of Great Guns Marketing, a telemarketing agency she set up 11 years ago at the age of 25 with a £4,000 loan from the Prince’s Trust.

Within three months she had gone blind because of a degenerative condition, but it has not stopped her expanding her business, which is based in Basingstoke and now has a £3m annual turnover and employs 130 staff in its six UK offices.
