In less than a decade, Nick Edmiston and his son Jamie have developed one of the most effective yacht-broking companies in the world, joining an elite group who matchmake the super-rich with what is regarded as the ultimate luxury: a super-yacht.
With an annual turnover of €40m ($58m), Edmiston has doubled in size every year for the past seven years and is currently managing the construction of 30 private yachts, the smallest measuring 39 metres and the largest in excess of 100 metres, some of them technically more complex than a warship.
