Raiders in record £40m gem heist

Armed raiders stole diamond-encrusted rings, bracelets and necklaces worth £40m from a Bond Street jeweller last week, in what is thought to be Britain’s largest gem heist.

The two smartly dressed men in their 30s took 43 items from Graff Jewellers during the two-minute raid on Thursday, Scotland Yard disclosed on Tuesday.
