Iran’s foreign minister on Sunday said the Islamic regime could take legal action against Washington after five Iranian officials released from US jails in Iraq returned home.

“The diplomats, the foreign ministry and the government reserve the right to take legal action against this brutal act of the Bush administration,” said Manouchehr Mottaki, foreign minister. He added that the detention of the five officials had continued under the Obama administration.
