Trade ministers to kick-start Doha talks

The world’s most powerful nations used their final session at the Group of Eight summit in St Petersburg on Monday to focus on reaching a breakthrough in the global trade talks impasse.

Brazil, China and India were among the big trading nations meeting with the US and its G8 partners in an effort to gain a better deal for the world’s poorest nations.
