Emerging market stocks take a dive

Emerging market stocks tumbled across the globe on Monday as the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers heightened fears over slower world growth and drove investors to sell riskier assets.

Commodity producing nations, such as Russia and Brazil, and those with high external financing needs, such as Turkey, came under particular pressure.
