A Pakistani court on Wednesday charged seven in connection with last year’s terrorist attack on the Indian city of Mumbai, as high-ranking officials promised to tighten curbs on Pakistani militants who target India.
Officials said the seven charged with involvement in the Mumbai attacks were linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a Pakistan-based militant group with a long history of publicly claiming responsibility for attacks in India’s predominantly Muslim Kashmir region.
