No one likes filling out their expenses claims, but everyone likes receiving the money: filling out and approving expenses claims is both time consuming and expensive.

Research by the Aberdeen Group, a market research firm, found that automated systems for expense reporting can cut the cost of processing claims by 37 per cent. Businesses using automated systems also have much stronger compliance with corporate travel policies, and staff find that their costs are reimbursed more quickly, too.
