IAC expands with launch of gift-shopping website

IAC/InterActiveCorp, Barry Diller's internet conglomerate whose brands include travel website Expedia and HSN television shopping network, today launched a gift-shopping website as part of its attempts to harness retail.

Gifts.com is part of IAC's strategy to tap online shoppers and follows a $720m deal to buy a group of retail catalogues and websites this month.
