Rover may take back seat to MG sales

The Rover brand suffered its biggest sales slump in percentage terms last month,emphasising how dependent the company is on completing a collaboration deal with China's Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.

Rover is now on the brink of being overtaken by MG as the troubled Longbridge carmaker's biggest seller - a startling transformation from five years ago, when the newly independent company expected fewer than one in four sales to be MGs.
