According to Alan Rosenberg, president of the US Screen Actors Guild, the 70 nominees for tomorrow’s Golden Globes decided to “stand united with our brothers and sisters” at the Writers Guild of America and not attend the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton. As a result, the ceremony has been cancelled; winners will simply be announced at a press conference.
