MSCI Barra will on Friday unveil a new family of equity indices covering frontier markets, to tap growing interest in the asset class.

The frontier indices will cover 19 countries, including Bahrain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
