An explosion in the southern city of Shiraz last month which killed 14 people was the result of a bomb attack by a group with links to the US and Britain, Iran’s intelligence minister has said.

“The bombing agents were a group who had been linked with...some western countries particularly Britain and US for the past several years,” Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei was quoted by the official news agency IRNA on Thursday as saying.
