Premier Foods and its lenders have both hired external advisers to work on the restructuring of the food producer’s £1.7bn debt package.

Goldman Sachs has been appointed by Premier, maker of Hovis bread and Branston Pickle, to help find a solution to the burdensome debt mountain.
