French plan second stimulus package

The French government said on Friday it would come up with a second stimulus package next year if required to cushion a sharp recession in the eurozone’s second largest economy.

After a cabinet meeting to discuss implementation of a €26bn ($37bn, £24.4bn)) economic support plan, Christine Lagarde, finance minister, said: “If we need to do more, we’ll do more.”
