United Airlines eyes new credit rejig

United Airlines is considering asking its banks to revise the terms of its credit facility in an effort to gain much-needed financial flexibility to weather the airline industry’s sharp downturn.

The US carrier is likely to contact its lenders – Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and Credit Suisse – as early as Monday to ask for concessions on its financing arrangements, according to people close to the situation.
