Peloton fund sets winning pace

Since leaving Goldman Sachs in 2001, Ron Beller has spent a year redesigning the New York school system for Michael Bloomberg, the city’s mayor.

Mr Beller and his wife have sponsored a new primary school in London under the auspices of the Ark Education charity he co-chairs. He has become one of the great and the good of London’s hedge fund scene, thanks to Peloton Partners, the hedge fund he co-founded in 2005 with Geoff Grant, Goldman’s former head of global macro proprietary trading.
