Great Portland robust amid downturn

Great Portland Estates shrugged off wider concerns about the London office market with a robust set of full-year results in the face of the commercial property downturn.

Net asset value per share, including joint ventures, fell 2 per cent to 582p in the year to March 31, in line with expectations but easily beating double-digit declines reported by peers such as British Land.
