ICE signs exclusive deal with CBOE

The Intercontinental Exchange has signed an exclusive deal with the Chicago Board Options Exchange in a move which could boost the appeal of its unsolicited bid for the Chicago Board of Trade.

The ICE-CBOE pact, announced on Wednesday, aims to end the long-running legal battle between the Board of Trade and the city’s options exchange, which has coloured the two rival bids for the CBOT.
