Lloyd's to tackle overseas competition

Lloyd's will unveil a three-year plan early next year to fend off increasing competition from overseas insurance markets such as Bermuda.

Julian James, director of worldwide markets at Lloyd's, and a contender to succeed Nick Prettejohn, chief executive, at the end of this year, said Lloyd's was in the "final stages of developing a three-year tactical plan that sets out how we will deliver the strategic vision".
