Advertising agencies face tough fight

Advertising agencies will have to fight to keep a grip on Britain's £31bn pot of marketing money as "unprecedented" technology and social challenges are forecast to hit the industry over the next decade.

A report prepared with leading UK agencies predicts that by 2016 the internet could be the single biggest advertising medium, and brands could find it harder to reach audiences using conventional campaigns.
