Ennstone rebels attack Johnston takeover

Two funds, holding more than 16 per cent of Ennstone, the small Anglo-American aggregates group, are rebelling against its proposed acquisition of Johnston Group and are urging fellow shareholders to oppose the move.

North Atlantic Value and Mirabaud Investment Management are calling for an extraordinary meeting at which they want to propose the appointment of a new director to conduct a strategic review of the aggregate's group.
