What’s new: A clearer focus on customers

Chordiant, the US specialist in customer relationship management software, has unveiled a new release of Chordiant Recommendation Advisor. Aimed at high-volume call centres, version 6.2 of the software shows agents which incentives and products apply to a customer at the individual, departmental and corporate levels. The same “multi-level” functionality can also be used to sell to consumers and families.

• Sweden’s IFS is the latest enterprise software company to jump on the green IT bandwagon. Its Eco-footprint Management tool allows businesses running its flagship IFS Applications suite to capture environmental impact information in much the same way that they currently use the suite to analyse financial costs. It also helps comply with forthcoming environmental legislation.
