South Korea on Wednesday warned US President-elect Barack Obama against pushing for renegotiation of the bilateral trade pact awaiting ratification, saying to do so “not only goes against international custom but it’s inappropriate.”

The warning came amid growing concerns about the future of the long-overdue trade deal, which was signed last year, as Mr Obama has opposed it, citing imbalances in the auto agreement.
