Postal workers are planning a series of rolling nationwide strikes aimed at causing maximum disruption to families and businesses in the run-up to Christmas.

A 24-hour all-out stoppage – probably on Monday or Tuesday next week – followed by a succession of three-day rolling strikes will be high on the list of options when leaders of the Communication Workers’ Union meet on Monday to plan their campaign.
