Liechtenstein responds to outside pressure

From the castle above Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein, the world is viewed from a height appropriate to a ruling family with centuries of tradition.

But in recent months conditions have changed uncomfortably fast for the principality as international pressure on offshore financial centres that lack transparency has mounted. In a country where the ruling family and the state are almost synonymous, even the Schloss is affected.
