UK sales dip at Mothercare

Mothercare, the mother and baby clothing and toy retailer, continued to increase sales through international expansion and the internet but sales growth slowed in the UK.

UK like-for-like sales rose 0.5 per cent in the three months to October 11, with the smaller but fast-growing international franchise business increasing like-for-like sales by 8 per cent.
