London flats fund plans £50m float

The former chief executives of housebuilders Redrow and Centex UK have teamed up with Steve Norris, twice London mayoral candidate, to take advantage of lower property prices by buying discounted flats in the capital.

The group hopes to raise £50m ($81m) through an initial public offering later this year for its investment vehicle, London Residential Opportunities, building to a total fund of £110m over the next two years.
