Barratt offloads some assets

Barratt Developments is set to reduce its towering debt by a further £104m ($154m) by the year-end after agreeing to the sale of commercial property and an office development.

The housebuilder is offloading some of the non-residential assets it inherited as part of the £2.2bn Wilson Bowden acquisition last year.
